All transactions on the Shockwave Economy Intelligence platform are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. This policy sets out your refund entitlements for subscriptions and individual report purchases. Paddle’s own buyer protection terms may provide additional rights in certain jurisdictions.

1. Subscriptions

Statutory withdrawal rights.
Where required by applicable law, consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from a subscription purchase within 14 days. Where digital content is supplied immediately and the consumer expressly consents to immediate access, such withdrawal rights may be reduced or extinguished as permitted by applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a statutory withdrawal right in your jurisdiction, contact us at info@shockwaveeconomy.com within 14 days of purchase with the subject line “Refund Request”.

Renewal charges.
Subscriptions renew automatically. If you did not intend to renew, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge and we will issue a full refund for that renewal period, provided you have not accessed subscription content after the renewal date. We recommend cancelling before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue.

Cancellation mid-period.
We do not issue pro-rata refunds for cancellations mid-subscription period. You retain access until the end of the paid period.

2. Individual Report Purchases

Because reports are digital products delivered immediately on purchase, we do not offer refunds once accessed or downloaded, except where required by applicable law or where the circumstances described below apply:

  • The file is corrupt or materially incomplete and we are unable to provide a working replacement within 48 hours.
  • The report purchased is materially different from its published description.

In either case, contact us within 14 days of purchase with a description of the issue.

3. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under mandatory consumer protection or digital content laws applicable in your country of residence. Where such laws confer rights that exceed those set out in this policy, those rights apply and take precedence.

4. How to Request a Refund

  • Subject line: Refund Request
  • Include: your name, the email address used for the purchase, the product purchased, and the date of purchase.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued via Paddle to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer.

5. Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to refuse refund requests where there is evidence of abuse, repeated refund claims, excessive content consumption prior to the request, fraud, chargeback abuse, or other misuse of the Platform. Misuse may also result in suspension or termination of access.

6. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. Unresolved disputes can be raised with Paddle directly. Our goal is to resolve all concerns promptly and fairly. Contact: info@shockwaveeconomy.com
